Review: SecuraTrac’s GPS Tracker Can Be a Real PAL
The other day over on BoingBoing, there was an interesting post on “locational privacy.” Aside from the questionable grammar, it caught my eye because just the day before BoingBoing was touting the 50 best iPhone apps — many of which are location-based, including the one its poster chose to profile (see my previous post on the SitOrSquat app for iPhone, Android, and BlackBerry). Um, guess what kids? Location-based services are conditional upon your device knowing your location, which naturally has its upsides and downsides. All of this dovetails nicely into my review of a new location-monitoring device and service, SecuraTrac.
