The iNavi ES300 — Everything You Ever Wanted (But Can’t Get) in a Sat Nav — Literally — for $266
Here is the latest — but believe it or not, not necessarily greatest — portable navigation device (PND) to debut in South Korea. I spied ES300 last week on Aving, where I frequently drool over various gizmos and other things I can’t have. This latest iNavi from Korea’s Thinkware is actually what the South Koreans consider a low-end model; of course it is more sophisticated than anything you can buy in the West, at least without spending an arm, a leg, and a second mortgage. Anyway, it seems that karaoke functionality has trickled down to South Korea’s low-end sat navs.
Korea’s Latest I-Navi Induces More Technolust
The problem with this job is that I often get exposed to things I can’t have. And those things are usually from South Korea. As anyone who knows anything about the country knows, Korea always seems to be about 10 years ahead of the rest of the world when it comes to consumer electronics goodness. The latest object of our South Korean gadget lust comes from Thinkware, the makers of the aforementioned karaoke-enabled PND, the I-Navi G1 (thought we were making that up, didn’t you?).
